Jollidays (in pictures)
We’ve just returned from a week in lovely Snowdonia, so I thought, as is traditional, I’d bore you with share a few holiday snaps đ Step through the portal into North Wales….
The weather had been somewhat wet and the river over the road was a raging torrent.
Wales is normally pretty wet, though, hence all the moss
But the scenery is spectacular
and there’s plenty of awesome sights
and even somewhere for pilgrims to paying homage
The weather wasn’t all bad (well, Tuesday was nice, so we went horse riding on Anglesey)
though not good enough to climb Snowdon, which was true to its name
when not lost in low flying clouds, so the mountaineering was fairly low level
and there’s always somewhere underground to escape from the rain.
We met a nice bloke and his bird in the car park at Beaumaris
She was lovely, but a little flighty
Did I mention it was quite wet?
But the pubs were warm and friendly (to dogs, children and muddy boots), the cottage had a log burner and board games, and a good time was had by all đ
